James Duberman, Esq., (known as Jamie by his friends and clients) is the Managing Partner and Founder of Duberman Associates. As a real estate attorney since 1991, Jamie has professionally and ethically represented a multitude of clients either purchasing, selling or refinancing their homes. Jamie handles each client personally with patience, expediency and the careful resolve of a trusted ally enabling his clients to feel well represented and empowered. As a result of his “hands on” approach and love of real estate, Jamie develops an immediate rapport with his clients. “I love what I do. Being a part of such an important part of my clients’ lives is very rewarding.”
Jamie’s clients consistently praise him for his accessibility. He understands that practicing law in the real estate space requires a dedicated commitment to be available to your clients whenever needed. After all, questions and concerns about the biggest purchase or sale in someone’s life do not always occur conveniently during business hours. “The most important variable in any real estate transaction is accessibility and communication. Communication with your client, the realtors, as well as with opposing counsel facilitates a smooth process and brings the transaction to a successful timely close.”
From the very beginning of his career, Jamie knew that he had a passion for real estate. As a graduate of Hofstra University’s School of Business, Jamie embarked on a career in real estate in the Real Estate/Compliance Department at New York Life Securities Corporation. After three years of this real life work experience, Jamie entered Brooklyn Law School. He graduated in 1991, is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey and has been in private practice ever since.
Jamie’s paralegal staff sets the bar for work ethic and professionalism. Jamie and his staff have been working as a team for 12 years. “I am incredibly proud of my team’s work and dedication. No other staff in the business cares as much about the client as my staff does.”
Duberman Associates represents clients throughout New Jersey with offices conveniently located in Short Hills, Freehold and Red Bank.
